Suzie Myers is a Procurement Specialist with the Riverside Community College District (RCCD) APEX Accelerator, formerly PTAC. She assists local businesses with all areas of federal, state and local government contracting. Prior to this career, she was a Buyer for both Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, in addition to working as a Substitute Teacher. Other experience includes Operations and Procurement Management in the private sector. Her motivation comes from the successes of the businesses she works with.

Valorie Piper is the Director for the Inland Empire APEX Accelerator, formerly PTAC. In 2023 the APEX Accelerator assisted over 1,200 small business clients in securing more than $230 million in government contracts and obtaining small business certifications. Valorie has managed over $90 million in NSF, DOL, DOD, HSI and NIH grant funding in her tenure at the University of California Riverside and Riverside Community College District. Valorie is also the CEO of her own small consulting company, where she assists businesses with accounting and administration tasks.
